How licence holders work with Grass Roots
Catalogue first. Human licence review second. Research and request after that. No consumer checkout.
Grass Roots Genetics is a Canadian B2B genetics house. The digital platform exists so licence holders can see what is in the network, in the same language the rooms already use: cultivar, lineage, selection notes, hasher versus smoker, colour, tier.
Access is staged on purpose.
Visitors who confirm they are of age can browse the public catalogue. That browse is not commercial eligibility. Creating an account lets an organization submit Health Canada licence details. A Grass Roots administrator reviews those details. Approval is a human decision. A typed licence number does not grant status.
Once an organization is approved, the account can save genetics, submit research requests, and correspond about material that is not currently shown. The application records those requests. It does not take payment, book freight, or complete a cannabis transfer.
That last sentence is a product boundary, not a missing button. Regulated acquisition belongs with licensed parties and a separately approved commercial process. This platform stays authoritative for identity, catalogue, documents, and permission so that process — if and when it is connected — does not require rebuilding Grass Roots.
